The NTC (Australia) has released the Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems Regulatory Policy Issues Discussion Paper, which discusses how Australia could best prepare for the introduction of C-ITS with key issues highlighted including liability, privacy, driver distraction and compliance and enforcement. The discussion paper is focussed on Australian law and policy but may be of interest to some group members.
The discussion paper is available on the NTC website and is open for public comment until 31 January 2013.
