The 12th COTA International Conference of Transportation Professionals -- Beijing, China. August 3 - 6, 2012.
Nearly thirty conference sessions, including plenary, invited, technical, and special forums are organized to address topics of interests to transportation professionals from governmental, industrial, and academic institutions. The CICTP 2012 Executive and Organizing Committee has invited about 15 internationally recognized, prestigious experts and scholars to deliver talks in keynote and plenary sessions. ˆ65 Million in EU Funding Available for Environmentally-friendly Freight Projects.
The European Union is funding through the Marco Polo programme new transport services which shift freight from Europe's congested roads onto rail, short-sea shipping routes and inland waterways, or which avoid road transport.
The available budget for the 2012 Call is ˆ64.6 million. Applications have to be submitted by Sept. 21, 2012.
