The 12th COTA International Conference of Transportation Professionals -- Beijing, China. August 3~6, 2012

Nearly thirty conference sessions, including plenary, invited, technical, and special forums are organized to address topics of interests to transportation professionals from governmental, industrial, and academic institutions. The CICTP 2012 Executive and Organizing Committee has invited about 15 internationally recognized, prestigious experts and scholars to deliver talks in keynote and plenary sessions. Other more than 30 internationally well-recognized researchers and engineers are also invited to share their recent research findings and results.

COTA Community

Call for Abstracts for 9th Graduate Academic Forum at Beihang University, China
Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (Beihang University, China) cordially invite international graduate students (non-Chinese citizens only), who are currently studying towards their M.S. and PhD degrees in Civil and Transportation Engineering, to participate in the 9th Graduate Academic Forum of Beihang University, October 9-11, 2012 at Beihang University, Beijing, China.
A number of international graduate students from US, UK, Canada, and European countries have actively participated in the event since it was started in 2004. This forum provides a platform for graduate students from all other countries over the world to share their recent achievements and progresses in research related to the most advanced theories, technologies, and applications in the fields of their interests. The School of Transportation Science and Engineering at Beihang University will host the sub?forum in civil and transportation engineering. Any enrolled graduate student in Civil and/or Transportation Engineering, while PhD student is preferable, is welcome to submit an abstract (either unpublished or published) to Prof. Jun Chen via email junchen@buaa.edu.cn by 5:00 PM (US Eastern Time) July 8, 2012. The acceptance notice will be made by July 15th and the full paper will be due on August 25th. The corresponding authors will be invited to deliver a 30-minute presentation at the forum. Each invitee will be covered by Beihang University for his/her international route-trip travel (up to CNY 7,000 – roughly about US$1,100) between a U.S. city and Beijing and also provided with complimentary lodging accommodation and meals during the forum. Some local sightseeing tours will also be arranged in the end of the forum.
